Ultimately comparatively to the other singers they listened to such as: Mike Patton, Devin Townsend, and Corey Taylor, David falls short since they have more semitones than even the singers you mentioned. I have listened to disturbed for quite some time and was never impressed with his vocal range and it was never apparent that he has four octaves.
